What makes a good paragraph rewrite

A paragraph has a job: one main idea, supported by the sentences after it. A good rewrite keeps that job. It keeps the topic sentence first, keeps the order of the argument, and changes the wording and rhythm around it. That is why this tool rewrites sentence by sentence in place rather than generating a new paragraph from scratch: your structure survives, and you can see every change.

Tips

  • Start with Fluent if the paragraph is yours and just reads awkwardly; use Standard when you need clearly different wording.
  • Pick Strong only for general prose. On technical text, a strong rewrite can swap a precise term for a loose one.
  • Keep quotations as they are: tap the keep button on any sentence that is a direct quote.

Questions people ask

How do I rewrite a paragraph without changing its meaning?

Use Standard or Fluent mode with a Light or Medium change level. Then check the marked changes: every fact, number and name should still be there. Use the keep button on any sentence where the original wording matters.

Will it keep my paragraph breaks?

Yes. The text is split into sentences and paragraphs in your browser, each sentence is rewritten in place, and the paragraph breaks are put back exactly where they were.

Can I rewrite several paragraphs at once?
